It all begins with an idea: Maybe you want to start a private practice to spend more time with your family, enjoy vacation getaways when you want, make significantly increased income, or be your own boss. Whatever the reason, Jacleen Charbonneau, LMHC and Andrea Fischer, LICSW — licensed therapists residing in Massachusetts — can help you make this idea become a reality with little to no research on your part.
Jacleen Charbonneau, LMHC, a licensed therapist in private practice since 2020, has helped a number of licensed therapists launch their successful private practices in a matter of weeks to months, and due to the demand, has decided to offer Zoom seminars to therapists who have the determination to apply their knowledge to become a reality. Jacleen also hosts a Facebook group, Massachusetts Mental Health Therapists Starting a Private Practice, which holds over 500 members.
Andrea Fischer, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over 8 years of experience in the field. She graduated from Boston College and has worked in diverse settings including group homes, in-home therapy, crisis intervention, and outpatient therapy. Throughout her career, she has taken on roles as a supervisor, guiding and nurturing professionals in their development. She is passionate about promoting professional growth, striving to create supportive environments where clinicians can flourish in private practice and provide effective care to those in need.
Zoom seminars are only offered a few times per year, and are designed to be intimate in size, informative, interactive, and engaging. Our Purposeful Practice Seminars will help therapists achieve the following:
Brainstorm and begin to identify the exact type of practice they are looking to achieve: in-person vs telehealth; clientele niche; private pay vs. insurance; LLC vs sole proprietor; & more.
Identify and apply the necessary steps —from start to finish— to get your private practice launched and off the ground, including NPIs, EINs, CAQH, EHRs, BAAs, PLLCs & much more.
Identify and access relevant contacts who can help with the legal and administrative side to running a private practice.
Pros and Cons of various choices that can be made in private practice, including EHR, office space, billing arrangements, insurance credentialing, & more.
Marketing strategies to help expedite client referrals & fill your calendar.
